Cost Effective

Over a battery's lifetime, the SmartBlinky saves a surprising amount of time or labour cost and delivers a rapid return on investment. The cost of a single SmartBlinky is a minimal addition to the purchase price of an industrial battery. Still, it allows watering on a labour-saving 'when-needed' basis instead of a 'hit or miss schedule'. This is even more important with batteries that require less frequent water additions.

Simple LED Feedback

The SmartBlinky monitor makes battery watering simple and reliable. It blinks green when electrolyte levels are correct and turns red when water is needed, even visible from across a dark battery room. This saves operators time by showing exactly which batteries require attention, while preventing unnecessary checks and costly overfilling. With SmartBlinky, you’ll always know when to water and when to leave your batteries alone.

Engineered to be Tough

The SmartBlinky battery watering monitor is built to withstand the harsh environment of industrial battery applications. All materials are resistant to corrosion, and the low-profile design protects against damage from battery cables and other hazards. It is designed to last for the life of the battery.

Why Smart Blinky

The SmartBlinky monitor is ideal for batteries where the top of the battery can be seen. The LED is integrated onto the probe body in a single piece that sits directly on the battery. This is the value model in the Blinky family of battery watering monitors.

Multiple Connection Types

The SmartBlinky can be installed using a range of different battery connectors.

Patented Design

SmartBlinky is an electronic probe that senses the electrolyte in a cell. The simple, low-cost circuit provides a clear indication when the battery needs water.

Wide Operating Range

Works on all industrial lead acid batteries from 4 to 12 volts, including 6 and 12-volt golf and block batteries.

Immediate ROI

SmartBlinky is a low-cost solution that quickly pays for itself through reduced labour and maintenance costs.

Super Bright LED Indicators

A bright flashing green LED means the electrolyte level is OK, while a bright red flashing light means it is time to water the cells.

Easy to Install

A quick and simple installation procedure with reverse polarity protection.

FAQs

The SmartBlinky has a solid green light with no flashing. What does this mean?
A solid green LED on the Blinky is potentially indicating that the circuit has failed. We would suggest contacting your local Philadelphia Scientific distributor for further investigation.

The Blinky is flashing red, then when I take it out, it doesn't flash at all. Why is this happening?
The most likely cause of this would be that the negative fuse has ruptured and once replaced should work, if you need any further information we would suggest contacting your local Philadelphia Scientific distributor.
