HydroPure™ Deionizer Cartridge

Replacement cartridge for HydroPure Deionizer System.

The amount of purified water produced by our cartridge will average about 600 gallons, but this will vary with the quality of the incoming tap water, from as much as 1,500 gallons to as little as 250. Water quality varies by geographic location and season of the year, which means there is no single standard that can be applied uniformly across all areas. Using a HydroPure Deionizer System takes the cost and guesswork out of providing pure water for your batteries. It also protects the investment you have made in purchasing your batteries. The use of impure water in your batteries shortens battery life and battery run times, which only wastes money.

FAQs

I have installed the HydroPure Deionizer, but the purity light is flashing red. Why is this?

Before first use, run 10 gallons / 40 litres of water and check again.

If you are using the deionizer to fill a watering cart or a bucket, be sure to have the flow restrictor connected to the end of the output hose. The water needs enough time to interact with the resins inside the cartridge to deionise effectively.

If the problem persists, remove the purity light from the deionizer and leave it to dry in open air for 30 minutes. If the light is still flashing red in the open air, you will need to replace the purity light.

If the purity light flashes green in the open air and then flashes red when reattached to the cartridge, please get in touch with customer service to help diagnose the issue.

How much water can I expect out of one cartridge?

The capacity of the cartridge is directly related to the purity of the incoming water, or TDS level. To determine what the capacity will be precisely, you must test the incoming water with a TDS meter. Using the Cartridge Output Calculator at the bottom of the page, enter the resulting Parts Per Million data to see how many gallons/litres you will get from your cartridges.

Can I connect the Deionizer to a Water Injector System?

No, the Injector system requires consistent 25-35 PSI to function correctly, which the deionizer cannot produce.

What is the shelf life of the cartridge?

The deionizer cartridge has a shelf life of 5 years.

How long can I extend the length of the output hose?

If connecting to a Stealth system, the maximum length is 100 ft.

If connecting to a Watering Gun (GUN-X, GUN-S, GUN-RR), you must confirm that your flowing water pressure is at least 30 PSI, which will allow you to extend the output hose up to 100 ft.
