Flame Arrested Design

Safety is our top priority. Flame Arrested Injector System snaps onto the base of Classic Injectors, providing an extra layer of protection against external sparks or flames. It prevents any potential explosions caused by gases inside the battery cells. It addresses the most critical safety concerns outlined in the Cal/OSHA Statute T8-5185(n). This innovation ensures a safer and more secure battery maintenance process for everyone involved.

Accurate Filling

Each Injector has its own precision level-sensing valve enclosed in a protective housing. When the electrolyte level rises to the tip of the Injector, the valve shuts off instantly. There are no floats or delicate exposed parts to stick or break, so the Injectors are unaffected by oil and tar in the cells and can function in extremely cold or hot, dry and abusive conditions.

Effective Operation

The system is simple to use. Once the maintenance engineer or operator connects the system to a dedicated watering cart and opens the valve, the filling process can be completed in under 15 seconds, which is eight times faster than filling a battery with a float-based system. For most warehouses and DCs, that adds to the hours of maintenance saved each week.

Why Flame Arrested
Water Injector System

The system works with batteries ranging from the smallest 5-plate battery to the largest industrial forklift battery. It is handy where traditional single-point watering systems are complex to fit, such as rapid or opportunity charge batteries with crowded tops. It is also perfect for when the battery size or layout is not known in advance.

Fast Operation

An average 18-cell industrial truck battery can be filled in 15 seconds or less.

Easy Installation

Flexible tubing and the snap-fit base make installation fast and easy.

Compact Design

Low profile allows Injectors to fit on any industrial battery and minimises damage from battery cables. Injectors can snap in and out to enable the inspection of electrolyte levels and specific gravities.

Safe Operation

Prevents direct contact with electrolyte during battery filling and prevents overfilling.

2-Stage Filtration

In addition to the filter screen in the input coupling, each Injector has its own individual filter.

5-Year Warranty

Injectors are made of high-quality engineered plastic that provides maximum chemical resistance and long-lasting durability. There are no exposed parts to break off, even when an Injector is removed from a cell.

FAQs

What is the difference in length between the standard Injector and the Extended version?
Measured from the underside of the white disk to the end of the injector.
Standard injector: 51mm
Extended injector: 70mm

What pressure does the water injector system operate at?
Operational pressure is between 25 and 35psi

How long will it take to fill my battery if I use a Water Injector system?
Filling a battery with this system can take approximately 15 – 30 seconds, but this will depend on how low the electrolyte level is.

How can I tell if my battery needs topping up?
We recommend using a Blinky battery watering monitor so that you can check your electrolyte levels in a safe and fast way.

If I can’t see the electrolyte level, how do I know when it is full?
The system will automatically shut off when it is fully filled.
