iBOS™ Pro Controller

The iBOS Pro controller manages up to 350 chargers across nine battery pools, ideal for larger battery rooms that have multi-level battery racks and utilise a battery changer. With a subscription, it connects to an online data portal for up to five years of reporting, while the touch screen displays battery availability and selection statistics.

Boost Productivity

Battery changes in busy warehouses can be slow, confusing, and error-prone, reducing runtime, shortening battery life, and increasing costs. An iBOS system eliminates guesswork, reduces battery abuse, and keeps your operation running smoothly

Time Savings

The iBOS Pro delivers significant time savings by reducing each battery change by 2–5 minutes and lowering the number of swaps by 10–20%. As a result, trucks can operate up to 30 minutes longer on a single charge, improving overall efficiency and productivity.

Extend Battery Life

The system helps extend battery life by improving operational efficiency, adding an average of six extra months to each battery’s lifespan. This not only reduces annual replacement costs but also maximises long-term value from every battery in use.

Why iBOS™ Pro

The iBOS Pro Controller is the most advanced solution, designed for larger battery rooms with multi-level racks and battery changers.

Fewer and Faster Battery Changes

Save 2 to 5 minutes per change and have 30 minutes longer battery run time, resulting in 10-20% fewer battery changes.

Real-time Monitor

Provides all the information needed to manage the battery pool efficiently.

User Friendly

The iBOS Pro has a simple read and react system and a large scrolling display that tells forklift operators the correct battery to pick next.

Reduce Mispicks

The shouter sounds an alarm when the operator takes a battery that doesn't have the pick light.

Better battery room visibility

Identifies malfunctioning equipment and problems in the battery room via online management reports.

Accurate battery purchases

Helps management make precise business decisions regarding the optimal number of batteries in the pool.

Seamless Connectivity

Every KPI of a battery's performance is recorded and can be accessed remotely via your customised data portal.

FAQs

Can the iBOS detect a bad battery?

Yes, the iBOS system generally serves as a quality control device to give out batteries that are fully charged and cooled down the longest. When a battery is connected to the charger, the iBOS records the connect voltage of that battery with the date/time stamp of the connect event.

The iBOS system tracks the voltage profile of the charge cycle through the charging process. If the battery fails to achieve the correct voltage level within the next 24 hrs, the battery is considered a charger fail (Charger No Start on the batterymanagement.net) and is put into Quarantine, and the operator is notified through the iBOS control panel screen.
